Carnival: known throughout the world as a pre-Lenten celebration of which consists primarily of street revelry and dress, the center of the carnival more interesting around characters that embody their particular country spirit. In the United States, these characters correspond to the King and Queen of Mardi Gras, but the whole world, the Carnival of the players are as varied and complex as the cultures that created them.
Many of these figures are deliberately comic. The Quebec Winter Carnival is the Bonhomme figure, a snowman to life established in 1954, which has several knuks, or knights, who march with him, and that encourages children. King Momo, the population of Latin American character who is alternately known as the King of Chaos or the King of Clowns, opened the celebrations of Carnival in Goa, India, officially encouraging festival attendees to enjoy themselves. King Momo also appears in the Carnival of Barranquilla in Colombia, but is somewhat overshadowed by the festival of the prevailing attitude of the hoax, which translates to "making fun of someone or something." Throughout the centuries, authoritarian figures like slave owners and Colombian drug lords have been popular targets of the satire of Barranquilla.
Other companies have over the years with elected officials who preside over a complex series of preparations leading up to Carnival. In Belgium, the Carnival of Binche is a six-week chaired by Gilles Bouvy of society. Lead Gille is elected by the members of Gilles Bouvy and now, is not allowed to be women. Founded in 1862 in the city of La Louviere, the Gilles de Bouvy participate in celebrations of drum known as soumonces tests, which take place during weekends in January and February. Laetare soumonces culminate in the three days of carnival, whose name translates to "enjoy!"
Some countries have a lineage of characters spanning several hundred years ago. Among the many colorful German festivals, the Karneval Koln has a prince, a poor and a virgin. The virgin, strangely, can only be interpreted by a male actor. Originally created in 1341, these characters roam the streets a lot of parties and meetings that will culminate with pub Nubbelverbrennung Tuesday, a fire of straw-stuffed effigies on cleaning the spirit of the previous three months related to the carnival of excess . This marks the end of the fire official in Germany die närrische season (silly season).
Unfortunately, not the carnival of the Earth has invented a character that can prevent the sober reality of dying Fastenzeit, or Lent, from the beginning the next day.
